This year, for my birthday, Ida and I jumped in the convertible and drove down the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway, AKA California Highway 1) to San Simeon, home of the famous castle of William Randolf Hearst. Built quite literally in the middle of nowhere, it is a true testiment that with enough money, you can get anything done! |
